WHAT IS IT?

Back in November we held a Talos-Themed Contest where we gave away two copies of The Talos Principle. This contest was held before the game was released and we had a ton of great entries. Since then our community has grown to almost 90,000 members! Now that so many people have had a chance to experience the game and see what it's about, we think a new contest would garner even more attention!

This time around we're limiting entries to only IMAGE entries to streamline the judging process and allow the entries to be shared more easily. If you're looking for some inspiration you can check out the entries to our previous contest.


We're also giving away MORE prizes to the TOP 5 entries, including a The Talos Principle T-Shirt[fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net] for the grand prize! Your choice of a black or white shirt design. The white shirt was designed by the very talented Tom J Manning[www.facebook.com].

WHAT MEDIUMS MAY I USE?

This time around, we're only accepting IMAGE entries. Fear not, though, as this still allows a ton of creative ways to enter.

Some examples include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Digital artwork
  
• Scanned or photographed physical artwork
  
• Birthday cake
  
• Clay Model
  
• A Comic

HOW DO I ENTER?

1. Upload your entry to any free photo hosting service (Imgur, Photobucket, Facebook, Steam Artwork, etc) and make SURE that the image is accessible by the public so we can see it!
   
   
2. Reply to this thread with a link to your entry.
   (If you decide to have more than one entry please include them all at once, or create a separate post for each. Do not edit your previous post to include more entries, as they might be accidentally skipped over.)
   
   
3. Include your thoughts about The Talos Principle! (This can be as brief or lengthy as you'd like, and does not influence your chances of winning.)
   If you haven't played the game let us know what interests you the most, or what you look forward to in the game.
   If you have played the game already, tell us what you liked the most, share a memory, or let us know what you plan to do with the extra copy!

Lastly, don't forget to read and adhere to the rules!

RULES

1. Your entry must have some definitive relation to The Talos Principle (environments, characters, story, etc.)
   
2. Works submitted to the previous Talos-Themed Contest are not allowed
   
3. Your entry must be a STILL IMAGE in one of the following formats: PNG, JPG, GIF. Animated GIFs are not allowed.
   
4. An individual may submit up to (3) entries, but is only eligible to win once! Each entry must be its own separate image.
   (Each entry is judged on its own, so multiple entries do not necessarily increase your chances of winning.)
   
5. You must be the creator of any work submitted to the contest, and have the rights to use any parts that may have been created by another individual.
   
6. Your submission must fall within Steam's guidelines (See: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4045-USHJ-3810 )
   
7. We reserve the right to disqualify any submissions that break any of the above rules.
   
8. By submitting your creation(s), you grant permission to the contest moderators and/or Croteam to use and post your material in promotional advertisements and/or to showcase entry submissions.

DEADLINES

Please submit your entry by Sunday, April 26th, 6:00 pm GMT.
Winners will be announced on the following Wednesday, April 29th, 6:00 pm GMT.
Prizes will be distributed shortly after winners are announced.

Each submitted entry will be ranked by a small panel of judges (including a few Croteam developers) and the Top 5 entries will qualify for a prize. An individual may only win once, and is eligible for only the highest prize tier that their entries achieved.

The Talos Principle is probably one of the best puzzle games i have ever played. I have a friend who HATES puzzle games and is all about shooters,and he stayed with that opinion for 12 years. The Talos Principle changed his mind. ;)

To be honest, I didn't expect something different from Croteam except for another Serious Sam game. But then I saw a teaser of The Talos Principle, I thought like "Wow! Croteam are making a puzzle game?!! Is that even possible??!". And that was pretty much my impression of the teaser, mini-game "Sigils of Elohim", a demo and the game itself. It's gorgeous.

Some Spanish Croteam developer is having an interview about the features from The Talos Principle in comparison to those of their well-known Serious Sam series. Apparently, these features seem to be quite amusing.

Just to clear it up, by propositions we are not accepting videos this time. But for a next contest we will find a way to accomodate them too.

I already have the game. I don't care if I win something or not, to be honest. I just want to support community. In fact, I'm not really happy with this artwork, I wanted to make something better. But who cares.
The only thing I want to say about The Talos Principle is that it became my new favourite game, even surpassing another great hit from Croteam and my long-time love, Serious Sam. No other game was able to make this, and this is truly a very remarkable sign.
