Serious Sam 4

Serious Sam 4

Is Black Magic in this game?
Because clouds don't move, that's some sorcery.

Clouds still don't move in SS4? Looks like another call for...

dynamic skyboxes.

heh honestly that something I never noticed in any SS game.
Well, I am beginning to think that SS4 looks like crud without dynamic skyboxes, and it really needs them. We'll see what happens.

It's pre-alpha...
Clouds can't move in pre-alpha, guys. :bullsam:

Sam hates windy days, so we decided to leave the Sam universe completely wind-free. Plus, we all know very well that the earth is a flat slab and that the sun is rotating around it, and not the other way around.

Thus, there's no way for clouds to move.

Well you better add in some wind, man. That way, you can finally have moving clouds in Serious Sam again.

Now we know why much of current SS has no dynamic skyboxes.

Hmm, not that you mention it, I'm sure I saw moving clouds in games even before even 2000.

Back then we didn't know for a fact that the earth was flat and that the sun rotated around it. So, those guys were in the wrong.
Everybody noticed, that clouds aren't moving, but nobody noticed that the skybox is the same skybox from the FE HD from 2009, which was reused in SE HD, and then in SS3...
I noticed it the moment I saw teaser. I almost barfed.
I don't know how difficult it is to add dynamic skyboxes, but if it is that simple, why not just implement them in SS4? It'll give the environments more life.
