Steam Spring Sale: Must Have DLC for the "full" experience?
Title.

What are some of the "Must Have!" DLCs that add the coolest or much needed features to the base game?

Or would everybody recommend just buying all the DLC since they are all on sale?

I already know "Industries" adds a ton of extra stuff, so that's on my list. And call me crazy, but I think the "Disasters" DLC would actually add a bit of variety to the gameplay loop. (I play on Xbox, but have been wanting to play Steam since building controls look much more user friendly)

So let me have it! Name a DLC you like, and why you like it, and if you recommend getting it on sale or passing.

Night Life, Snowfall for winter, Natural Disasters (if you like wrecking cities), Industries if you are interested in developing those.
really depends on how you play the game and what you're making
- Industries is definitely must have, the vanilla industrial zone really is ehhhhhhhhhh....
- Mass Transit for additional transit system and support for assymetrical roads
- Snowfall for Tram if you want to use that transit option
- After Dark for bike lane
everything else are kinda optional, you can look up review on youtube or something for details on what they does.
not everyone plays the game the "original intended way", more so when modded
personally is sort of "detailer" that basically treat the game as model train set

So after adding up the cost of the game itself, and all mainline DLCs, it's coming out to about $89.44 (plus Tax), even when it's currently on sale...

How I so wish that Paradox would make it a bit cheaper when it's on sale...

After doing a bit more research, the asymmetrical roads would help a bunch on traffic (On Xbox it can be a pain to make slip lanes for interchanges). Also seeing that Helicopters are added in Mass Transit makes me feel like it would add a bunch of life to a skyline, as well as having an occasional Blimp. Park Life also looks very appealing to me (Everybody loves trees, right? Not just me?), so that's on a list of things I may buy during the sale...

How much of a difference does Snowfall's trams make in terms of public transit? Are they better or worse compared to buses, or are they just reskinned? And does the Road Maintenance building offer anything outside the snow maps? Will it improve speed limits on vanilla maps?

Also, how important are they Campus and Airport DLCs? I think I saw where in the Sunset Harbor DLC, an "Aviation Club" gets added. If I were to get both that and Airports, would I have private planes able to take off of public airports?

What packs offer ways of reducing pollution and waste, or naturally reclaiming land for other uses? I've heard a few good things about Green Cities and Sunset Harbor. What are everybody's thoughts on them?

Basically, I want to have a way to clean up some of the early factory pollution that sometimes plagues my Xbox cities. I don't want to look at dead looking trees and grey-ish grass. Plus, while amusing to see a literal "chocolate" waterfall and streak of brown going into the local waterway (lol), I'd prefer to do like my real life city does and "Pre-treat" water before it goes back into the waters that somebody might possibly be fishing/swimming in downstream. I've hear that it needs to be at least the same quality that somebody would be able to drink from before it gets put back into our lake.

The base game itself is pretty good on its own.

If interested, only get the expansion DLCs, which add gameplay content that cannot be obtained via Workshop modded assets.

DLCs such as radio packs and asset/content creator packs can be ignored, just listen to something else of your choice in the background or install modded assets from the Workshop.
Industries, Parks, Campuses are the best and give you ways to make money
