Unofficial fix for kitchen menu puzzle and broken endings

Not seeing full "ending" sucks, right? I thought the same, so I decided to check out why the hell it was broken. The reason was quite silly, but that's unrelated. And after fiddling with it for some more I managed to fix kitchen menu puzzle as well. How to do that? Check my guide below:

Both endings now fully work and game returns to main menu after credits. Kitchen menu puzzle no longer locks player in the game after picking up menu item in 5th slot and is fully solvable without changing to German language. Everything was tested by me numerous times one after another.

Jeez, now they reallly need to release this as an official patch.

This needs to be stickied. I petition a mod to do so. Going to replay the game in German thanks to the guide.

A year and a half passed since GOG release (which is almost identical to Steam one, including these bugs), I don't think they care about English version at all. It took me around one hour to figure out the reason why kitchen menu was broken, if they really cared then it would've been patched back then.
