play with all the lights on. Keep hydrated and take breaks.

*Tilts Head* Wah? Motion Sickness is why I can not play a lot of shooters anymore.

Oddly this game doesn't cause that.

Then Again I have not played it for more than an hour at a time so far.

It's because of the FOV, check the thread http://steamcommunity.com/app/254700/discussions/0/558749190704730098/

I don't understand how people use to play this game with no problem before they are now complaing about this FOV thing.. It is the same game.. nothing changed in that matter..

There were 4:3 monitors then. It's easier to play with the fov when the picture is small.

This game have dynamic FOV because it was originally designed to be played on TVs (and changes FOV accordingly to the environment to crank up the tension)...

so if possible do the same (play on a TV, or at least a bit away from the screen)...

people complain about FOV but do not understand tha this is a almost 10 yr old game designed to have low and dynamic FOV... they won't change the original 10 yr old design just because some people want to play on a screen right in their faces... deal with it...

Does this work? Im ok with this game but others due to choppy frame rates do make me sick.

On every single forum of every single game (usually FPS games) there is this same thread.

Bright lights are bad for motion sickness. Dim the lights or have them off completely. But the real problem is the low FoV combined with the blur.

Nope. The low FOV sucks like your attitude. The customer is alway right.

Playing with motion blur used to give me a really bad motion sickness. Though, it's gone now. I think I got used to it.

Nope. No sickness here. However, I hope this isn't yet another gambit by some to pin yet another deadly sin on Capcom. Not only is the game absolutely terrible and a betrayal of all that PC stands for, but people are getting sick. Damn you, infernal Capcom!!!!!!!!

But seriously, I have a friend who cannot even play Doom without wanting to chuck up. He even doesn't trust himself riding a bike or driving afterward. However, he had no problems with a few other 3D games. Some people's biology, I guess.

Ah you again, fresh after accusing reasonable people of being trolls. You certainly have a way with people.

Oh, and "the customer is always right" is a tongue in cheek maxim which shop staff say to appease customers who are being unreasonable in their complaints. It is akin to "the wife is always right" and "mother is always right". It doesn't actually MEAN that the customer is always right. It just means that there are times when the customer is wrong but doesn't realise it, or perhaps he or she does and is intentionally pushing to exploit that maxim to his or her benefit. In the end, the shop staff relents because it's better to get rid the person as soon as possible.
