Pretty much improved from the first ObsCure port on PC and has better graphics that any other versions of the game, added controller support, this is a remaster, maybe you want something more of a remake
Yeah it's a barebones remaster but it was the last breath of the devs that died maybe one year after the release, but if you didn't know there was a ObsCure port on PC in 2004 and it was really bad
Sadly Hydravision/Mighty Rocket Studio closed in 2012 and seeing they edited and published Obscure 1 & 2 they probably owned the licence and died with it, let's hope someone gets it back to make a sequel or something else at this point is ok
Sadge T_____T
I really hope some publisher like frictional Games or Koei Tecmo buy their licence or merge Hydravision. This game deserves at least a final part
With a friend we got the conclusion that either Focus got the licence thru publishing Final Exam in a deal and never did anything with it (unlikely) or the licence is still by Mighty Rocket Studio. The best bet is finding people who worked on the games before. Seeing the flop that Final Exam was tho doesn't look good for a revival tho.
Damn it. that is very melancholy like...
I suffered after completing Obscure II when I was a kid, literally I was so eager waiting for part 3 or at least a better ending for part 2 like a DLC or something T_____T But...
