Getting the construction rating up to 1000

I simply don't understand the construction rating. What is better then a class B module? A class A module or a class C module?
My confusion grew when i replaced a class B module with another class B module because i liked the side effects more and suddenly the rating went up by 20 points and another time when i replaced a class B module with a class D module the rating dropped by 100 points and when i then replaced the class D module with a class C module the rating went up by 120 points (means the class C module was 20 points better than the class B module).

I fail to see the system and the logic behind all that.

Its like school grade. Worst is F, followed by D, C, B, A, and S. The actual effects is tells you doesnt give you a good idea of the points. Just get all your items to B or higher. Also get the more moduls talent to get more points
