Still only episode 1?
Come on now...I remember looking to buy this game months ago and decided against it cause there was only one episode. Now here is the game released on Steam, not as Early Access, and it's still one epsiode? Come on, do you not see how this will go down?

People will come in here and start thread after thread about this being an incomplete game and that no one informed them, because they did not read the store page. Bad press will happen.

This game looks amazing! but do we get all the episodes if we buy it? Apparently the first is pretty short.

You get all episodes as they get released. It's a fantastic price right now. One of my favorite games of this year. It's short but I enjoyed every minute of it and replayed it a couple of times.

Tiny Barbarian DX is a 2D platform action game inspired by Sword & Sorcery fiction like Conan the Barbarian.
Like the short stories that inspired it, the game is split up into episodes, each its own self-contained adventure.
Buy one episode, and you get them all! Your purchase helps support on-going development (four episodes are currently planned), and when a new episode comes out, you'll get that added on to your game.
Currently the game is for Windows PC, with a Mac port currently in development.

So does this mean I'll have 4 separate icons in steam to launch all the different levels? Or will the dlc be added to the main game like most games?

How short is pretty short? Two hours?

Hey guys! Developer here. Each episode will launch from within the game (there's a menu with a few "coming soons" on it). These will release as updates to the main game, so Steam will keep you posted when a new episode comes out.

Thanks, I'm sold then.

I backed this game on Kickstarter a while ago and I'm pretty sure sure this is a one man project. Games take time to make. Especially a game of this high quality. Give him time and I'm sure we will be rewarded.
do you have to pay all over again for the other episodes? because that the biggest hook, line, and sinker I have ever seen if you do..

how long has this been in devopment? how long are we away from seeing episode 2? rough guess of course(not holding you to anything, dates always change)

The first release was in May 2013, so episode 2 has been in development for a bit! It's my fault that it's taken so long, but it's coming along. I learned from the episode 1 release that my estimates are way off! But I'll be posting some preview images soon. (there are a few floating around as well, over on the GreenLight page if you'd like to take a peak: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/updates/110272647
