playing with surface 4
I have a problem. I cant play this game on surface 4 because i cannot play neither in window mode nor in full screen because the resolution will not be supported very well.
How do i fix this? Even all 16:10 resolutions are bugged. The higher the resolution, the worse it will be.
Also the window mode doesnt scale the window of the game itself. It always has the same size and only changes the ingame resolution inside the window instead of scaling the window.

There is another problem. In window mode the mouse snaps to the right edge of the screen.

hmm this is interesting. I use a Surface Pro 4 for all our development stuff, so I'll test it and see if I can reproduce. If yes, then this is something that happen lately.

Okay we can reproduce some issues with SP4 and fullscreen and we are looking into it. (Seems to be a new Win10 problem.)

But the windows only issue I can not reproduce:

This settings for example work perfectly fine for me. Especially if you have 200% screen scale on.

Some questions: Do you have the latest updates running? Also any other hardware attached like a second monitor etc?

About the mouse snapping: Do you use any special input devices, or 3rd party mouse control software? You can try to switch to the "free-cursor" beta branch of Halfway - it uses an alternate mode for capturing mouse updates.

Hi Yerude,

there is a workaround which seems to help with the fullscreen issue.

Please browse to the game files ("Browse local files" in Halfway's Steam Properties), right-click Halfway.exe, go to the compatibility tab, and enable the "ignore display scaling on high DPI settings" option.

I will test it soon. Didnt have time yet.
I tested the snapping problem with an usb mouse, bluetooth mouse and the surface pen. All equal. I will try out how this game reacts on the windows screen scale, i think i used 150%. I hope it will help. I will also try out the ignore display scaling option.
And yes i always use the latest updates and i dont use a second monitor for it.
Doesnt have much time at the moment to test it but i will answer as soon as possible.
Does this game support touch screen well? I think this game is fun and is a good choice for a tablet. On my desktop PC i have no issues.

Thank you for your help so far.

@Yerude: check out the latest patch 1.2.8 from today. It should make the experience on your SP4 much better.
