Steam does the same, that's why info is publicly available.

I have no idea if you still need this tidbit of info, but LoU1 is considered a remake because they remade the game from the ground up using Part 2 engines rather than upscaling the original ps3/ps4 remaster version.

Also they changed Ellies model (face) a bit more to match her motion capture actor to drive her similarities away from their original although controversial inspiration Elliot Page.

The price difference comes about because the Last of us P1 is a remake while P2 remastered is just a port from the ps4/ps5 without any additional changes. The P1 remake is the equivalent of the Re:4 remake, the game didn't need one but it was definitely done justice.
