Is your game crashing? (Solution)

Hi friends, it has come to alot of people's attention that Rocket League seems to be crashing alot for whatever reason after the brand new update (v1.37) but fear not I have a temporary solution to the problem!

1. Start up Rocket League

2. Alt + Tab out of your game and open up task manager (ctrl + alt+ delete)

3. Find your Rocket League application in the task manager

4. Right click the process and find the "go to details" option

5. You'll be taken to a large list of processes but just look for the Rocket League process that should be highlighted in the list

6. Right click that and look for the "Set priority" option

7. Set the priorty on it to high

8. Close out of that window and the task manager and enjoy!

I have been playing Rocket League for 30 mins straight so far with no crash as of right now.

Your computer may hiccup here and there (probably the app wanting to crash but windows stopping it) but nothing too major. This should help with crashing until a hotfix comes out or as long as your PC isn't acting funny while doing this you should be all set hotfix or no hotfix!

If this solution doesn't work for you it might help to soft reset your PC. If the game still crashes after that, you might be having a diffrent issue and may want to seek help via Google and start troubleshooting your game.

This alone might give crashes lol. UE3 games don't like alt tabbing out of the game.

That's how it works :) It doesn't crash often, so you can't be instantly sure it's fixed... maybe after like 10+ hours of play in a few days without crashing again.

The crash for many players is either because of increased GPU use (one evidence is on main screen - they forced grass enabled in world detail set to quality). Or some memory leak or another nasty bug.

Apparently it's an issue to do with specific items, from what I've seen its the season reward trails from before. If this does not help try using alpha console to change them to something else.

Not really, I use the default banner + Batmobile.
