DualShock 4 Support
I can get the joysticks on my DualShock 4 to work for this game, but none of the buttons do anything. Does anyone have any advice? Or is DualShock simply not an option for this one?

Thanks!

Hi Univolic, have you tried remapping the buttons from the "Controls" section of the "Help & Options" area of the pause/start menu?

I have, but even in that menu my controller (aside from the left joystick) doesn't do anything, so I can't get it to remap.

Would you mind telling me what OS you're using?

I'd like to add that I'm having this exact issue as well. When I turned on the controller in the middle of a game, it recognized the joysticks but not the buttons; when I started the game up with the controller on, it was completely unresponsive.

Thanks for the reports. We'll be taking a look at this ASAP!

Hey guys, I am having similar issues with my wireless XBOX360 controllers. The game is not recognising the joysticks or buttons - and consequently will not let me remap.
Running on Windows 7 pro, 64-bit.

No Dualshock 4 support?
Saw this game has full controller support, but when I try to play it with my DS4 it doesn't work. Does this game support the DS4 or am I doing something wrong? I know the controller works as it navigates in Big Picture Mode but once in the game, it stops responding.

Hi all, so here is an update:

If you're using a DS4 and the stick works but the buttons don't:
You have to use your keyboard to navigate to the "Controls" section of "Help & Options". Once there, you can press ENTER on the keyboard to bring up the remap dialog and remap any of the gamepad controls you'd like.

If you're using a DS4 or wireless 360 pad and nothing is working:
Please make sure that you have connected the gamepad to your computer before launching the game. Unfortunately our game engine (Unity) does not always play nicely with hot swapping controllers. Issues may also arise if your controller disconnects during the middle of a game and you have to reconnect.

Please let me know if this helps. Thanks!

Got it! I think I didn't realize I had to hit Enter to start the remapping (whoops). Thank you!

Hey guys, I have tried running the game with the XBOX360 wireless controller armed and activated. Still no love :(

Do you have anything else plugged in that your computer could think is a controller (racing wheel, flight stick, drawing tablet, etc.)?

Well, I do use a wireless keyboard/mouse. But I unplugged all that (actually all other usb devices) and tried again. Still no dice.
Could it be a problem with the xbox wireless router device that plugs to the pc and talks to all the controllers? Maybe I should start up a new thread topic to see if anyone using a wireless xbox controller is having luck.

I'm trying to get my hands on a 360 wireless adapter to test this out myself. Thanks for you patience!

Tried these suggestions, still no luck. In response to "do you have anything else etc.", I'm using an iMac Retina and am using the Magic Mouse and the standard wireless keyboard. No other input devices, bluetooth or otherwise, are connected.

EDIT: On further testing, I tried waiting to turn on the controller until after the game started, contrary to given instructions, and THEN setting the control scheme. Having done that, as long as I turn on the controller after the game starts and NOT before, it works. If the controller is on before the game starts, it won't be detected. Hopefully this helps with debugging!
