HUD : v0.19 -- playerZKPKDIcoChngHUD - playerSkillPointsHUDBar
Note the icon for Zombie Kills in these 3 shots as the kill count goes up. (IcoChng)
Yes, the IcoChng works for PKills and Deaths. I just didn't die or PKill, hence still black.
Once white (255+) changes stop for that icon (ex 255+ deaths = white deaths icon).

LXIX --> <!--\7 Days To Die\Config\Xui\styles.xml--> <windows><!-- R.E. LXIX --> <!--\7 Days To Die\Config\Xui\windows.xml--> <xui><!-- R.E. LXIX --> <!--\7 Days To Die\Config\Xui_Menu\xui.xml--> <controls><!-- R.E. LXIX --> <!--\7 Days To Die\Config\Xui_Menu\controls.xml--> <styles><!-- R.E. LXIX --> <!--\7 Days To Die\Config\Xui_Menu\styles.xml--> <windows><!-- R.E. LXIX --> <!--\7 Days To Die\Config\Xui_Menu\windows.xml--> Added effect="outline" to various text elements. playerSkillPointsHUDLeftTop as another option for displaying skillpoints in the Top Left of the screen. Doing this it is placed so the Points available text does not display (off-screen). Changed: Moved the playerSkillPointsHUDBar left so the end of the XP bar is visible. Now ends at the middle of Slot 8 of the belt allowing better visibility of when close to leveling. Decreased opacity of the playerSkillPointsHUDBar so it is a bit easier to see the XP bar through it. v0.19 Added: Requested: Window with Skill Points Available with optional display position (with 2 options for position) (playerSkillPointsHUDBar or playerSkillPointsHUDRight) -- Default: playerSkillPointsHUDBar enabled Requested: Window that displays Zombie Kills, PKills, and Deaths with option to not show PKills (with dynamic or static colored icon versions[black to white]) (playerZKPKDIcoChngHUD, playerZKDIcoChngHUD, playerZKPKDHUD, or playerZKDHUD) -- Default: playerZKPKDIcoChngHUD enabled mapTimeHUD Window to display time in many areas of the GUI where the date/time does not display as the Compass is hidden. mapTimeHUD Window to many window groups in the xui.xml files to have the time displayed on a lot of stations/menus/etc Postion of mapTimweHUD window may or may not change as I am unsure where I want it. It is where it is at to be compatible with most menus. NOTE: if you find a window/screen that should not have time displayed, or time missing from one where it should display let me know. Screenshot would be great. Fixed: Minor positional mistakes Changed: Adjusted Font sizes slightly under compass and for level Near entire layout for Editing Tools RWG Previewer consolidated playerStatsHUD and playerStatsBarsHUD into single window of playerStatsHUD (don't think anyone was using food/water without the fill bars) Removed: Old mapCoordsHUD window as it is not coming back anytime soon. As of Alpha 16 this option could not be enabled due to a Stack Overflow error that occurs which potentially can completely crash 7DTD or cause other errors and bugs. Known Issues: The Skill Points Available is not real-time updated. It updates based on a few GUI events. The most common one to work is going to inventory. Hack alert: By putting the Skill Point window in the window_group toolbelt it will mostly/only update when pausing/hitting ESC. By having the Skill Point window in the compass group it allows the window to update when going into the crafting menus, looting, and many other commonly accessed GUI areas. To avoid issues the toolbelt controller is used to hide it at the right times (example on the minibike) ----- ----- Reminder: All changes in the XML files are tagged at the start and end of all changes with "Red Eagle LXIX's Custom HUD" or on the lines changed with that text. ----- Credit to The Fun Pimps for 7 Days To Die ----- ----- Thanks For the bug reports. :) ----- ----- Terms Of Use: All original values and layouts are property of The Fun Pimps. Thank you for updating this. I just came in the modding forum since the previous version bugged out with the current game patch.
Can you fill the Food and the water bar with color. or can you tell me what i must do for it?
Looks good, Red. I like the addition of information on the lower left, although the items under the compass are a bit busy for my taste. I haven't gotten around to making UI changes yet, but I'll keep your mod in mind when I do.
More than I wanted but you checked all the boxes on my wish list here. I'll wait for a few more patches and then use this. 1st time for me modding 7D2D, but I feel this info on my HUD is crucial for me. Thanks Red much obliged :steamhappy:

I've tagged each file where modified sections begin and end so should be easy enough to find what you're looking.

For anyone, that same tagging should make it easy to copy into other mods, and or updated versions of these files.

As for the size/clutter. I am a stats guy, I like numbers and seeing them.
I personally make this recommendation.
This mod supports changing the size via the xui.xml line : <ruleset name="default" scale="1.255">
That is The Fun Pimps default value and the one included in the mod. I do this so all the other windows look as the user expects since setting the scale lower shrinks all the windows a bit.
I personally use 1.1 : <ruleset name="default" scale="1.1">
That tweaks out to:

I personally don't use bars for viewing food/water, but if I find a moment I'll do the positioning and sizing as an example sometime this weekend.
v0.04 now includes bars by default behind PlayerTemp, Hunger% and Water %
Bars can be disabled by removing the window playerStatsBarsHUD from window group toolbelt in file xui.xml
Commenting has been much improved through all files.
Tweaks to the positioning and size of many items that were added.

Beautiful, this is what the game needs. Otherwise I spend too much time in a menu looking for the same info that should be apparent. Looking forward to giving this a whirl when I reach my weekend. :steamhappy:
Thanks. As soon as I install the game again I'll install this as well

I'll mention here: since you mentioned this to me a day or three ago (thanks for that again, btw), I've been doing just that and it works great except ... I think it messes up the map-marker flag positioning/creation (as well as the compass being 'off" if you try to use it to follow a flag) when the UI is made smaller.

If I click the map to place a flag, the flag is placed in a spot far away from where I actually clicked. The visual UI scales but maybe the map co-ord thingies do not. Anyone else notice this? I've been living with it and it doesn't bother me too much, but it's a note. :)

Yeah, I've noticed this. Didn't think much of it as I was just testing a code atm but yeah, I was scaled when I did that.

Yeah, at 1.255 (the default) the bug is present, but gets worse when scaled. I wonder if it is something that might be tweaked via the XML or not. Zoomed out when scaled is the worst, Zoomed out Normal, then Zoomed in scaled, then Zoomed in normal is the best. None ever seem to place the marker right where you click though.

Red, would you mind if I incorporated this into LathMod? I've done some preliminary poking at the UI aspects, and I can't see that I'd do all that much differently (with perhaps some trimming of things I don't use, like wind speed). Credit, of course, would go to you for the code.
Red, what would I need to comment out to remove just the bedroll coordinates from showing? That's the only thing on your UI that my husband doesn't like.
No Credit necessary for my part. Use what you like I commented it so people could use it however and whereever they wish.
