Dedicated Server question

How much power do I need for a server with 2-3 players?

I'm thinking about using my old gaming notebook for that. I don't use it for gaming or work or anything else anymore, it's just collecting dust. It is running a Linux distribution, so it has quiet room left for load.

Here are the specs:

Intel i7-4710HQ
2 x 8GB RAM
245GB SATA SSD
GTX 850M

For 2-3 players that is probably "OK" if you keep the CPU cool. It is below min spec, but should boost the CPU to something more in-spec when it demands it.

If yall move too fast on vehicles in separate directions, you're probably going to experience some lag in area loading.

90% of time i only play with my girlfriend, and we mostly walk and drive together.

Currenty my PC is the host with a R7 5700x, 4x8gb RAM and RX 6700XT.

I just want to shift the load away from my PC.
