Controller relation questionsfor you
For those who play 7 days with a controller what steam setting do you use, And those who do use controller to play do you have a duel monitor set up do you experience issues with controllers

Hey,
I dont use any Steam Settings to play with Controller. But i use a PS4 Controller and dont have any Problems.
Someone i know, plays with a PS5 Controller and has Problems. I prefer you play with XBOX or PS4 Controller.
Just Plug it in via Cable and play.
You can Change Play-style by simple Pressing a Letter on the Keyboard or just moving the Courser, or Pressing a Button on Controller for Controller. The Game detect it perfectly.

And no, no Duel Monitor.

lol, there is 100% built in controller support. DISABLE steam input.

did that. Proble,m is if I alt tab or something causes the controller to stop working and I have to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the game. Jusy wondering what people were using as for set up.

hi i have always played this game on pc with xbox controller, only since this new update im having the problem of freezing and cannot move or do anything. im very frustrated and i cant play like this. kbm is working fine tho but thats not how i play. i really wish they would fix this.

I ended up having nothing but issues with my PS4 controller. Ditched it for a Guilikit KingKong 2 Pro Controller. I use it connected to Steam as a Xbox One S Controller (default detected profile), and have Steam input enabled now that I look in settings. I do not recall having that enabled previously. I don't have a dual-monitor setup, but I have triple. Game runs on the center screen.

I haven't noticed any problems aside from having to re-adjust to v1.0 mappings. Mostly I just use the controller for vehicles though and use KB/M for the rest of gameplay.

update: well i seem to have figured out a way around the issue, if i launch steam and 7days with the controller OFF, then once im at the title screen i turn the controller ON it has been able to work without that weird freezing almost as if the game not communicating with the controller.... we'll see how long this lasts
