Random Game stage
Hi all,

Been playing this game for a bit with my better half, and really enjoy it.

We play the game as a casual experience, where we immerse ourselves in a zombie ridden world, and all the options for game modes helps us customize the game to fit our style. This game truly is the closest to a "Walking Dead Experience" (Can't wait for the addition of bandits)

I do have a suggestion to add another game option, which would make it even better for our game style.

Randomize game stage for Spawns and especially Blood Moon encounters.
Let me explain;
We would like to continue a game for as long as possible. Again we play it more for the immersion, than just seeing how far we can go/challenge. As the game is now, each Blood Moon have increased difficulty, which will mean, that for us, one failed Blood Moon, will end in a restart, as we most likely won't be able to survive the increased difficulty of the next one.

So I suggest to add the option for the Blood Moon game stage to be randomized between 1 to the game stage we are at (I would understand disabling Accomplishments, as this would make the game a lot easier).

This way, we could rebuild after a tough Blood Moon, hoping that the next one, would be easier.

If there is a Mod out there for this, please let me know.

Side suggestion 1: If this would be implemented, it would be cool to have different shades of Red based on which difficulty would be spawned, example;
Up to 0.2x of game stage; Blush Red
0.2x-0.4x; Rose Red
0.4x-0.6x; Crimson Red
0.6x-0.8x; Scarlet Red
0.8x-1x; Garnet Red

Side suggestion 2; This options could also be used to make it harder for the players that really seek a challenge, and let the Blood Moon have the possibility to be higher than the game stage the players are at.

You may know this already, but your gamestage is reduced if your character dies. I point this out since it sounds like your main motivation is to allow recovery after a defeat.

Without discounting your idea, perhaps a self-imposed house rule could add the randomness you seek. You could produce a new set of random x/y coordinates every week, and be honor-bound to fight the next horde there.

Just an addition to where I come from - We enjoy the randomized options in the game. Really thankful for being able to randomized which day the Blood Moon comes. We have it between 1-20 days in the current game. Probably decrease it to 1-14 days in the next game.

I actually did not know that. After 200 hours of play I never noticed the game stage getting reduced. Really appreciate that info.

Also interesting idea about fighting the horde at random coordinates. Have to try this.

Thank you so much
