Axis pillar enforcer fights - character specific dialogues?
Warning: Spoilers ahead if you don't want to be spoiled.

So in the final chapter of the game, in the axis pillar, you fight a different enforcer on each floor. And of course, each enforcer has a corresponding team member that they have some beef with, and if you don't have that party member in your group they all say something like "I'm disappointed that X member isn't here. Looks like we still have unfinished business."

Well, aside from the fact that I didn't bother leveling up many of those party members, it's also just a pain in the rear to go back to the Arseille after every fight just to pick them up. So my question is, what happens when you DO bring the right member to the fight? Dialogue is different I presume, but does the situation between the enforcer and them get resolved in any way?

As I mentioned, each fight ends with them saying something like "you can pass now, but I still have unfinished business with X member." Does bringing that member result in a conclusion or closure with said enforcer?

Thanks for any advice, I'd like to know if there is an appreciable change in the story before I spend the time and effort to esssentially make the boss fights harder just to see some new dialogue.

yup. Especially for Zane/Walter and Schera/Luci.

Extra cutscenes and extra dialogues, I think it's worth it, you can take the railway back to the Arseille. For lower level characters, you can just farm shining poms in the tunnels, a few fights can get you to mid 80s easily.

Blueblanc and Olivier+Kloe: Not much, just one extra dialogue
Walter and Zane: Head to head duel scene, Zane knocked Walter out.
Luciola and Scherazard: More Scehra's backstory. Luci fell down the Axis Pillar. .

Ah I see, so there are extra cutscenes and not just one or two lines of dialogue (aside from Blueblanc I suppose). I guess I will have to go back and check those for myself then.

How about for Renne? Estelle comes along obviously, but does bringing Tita make a difference? Thanks for the replies.

Renne's story doesn't end in SC. Bringing Tita doesn't make a difference.

Renne and Tita doesn't have much dialogue. Renne will be in the 3rd though.

Cool, thanks for the info!

Also, if you don't go back out and switch members, you can screw up the scripting of the game. As you're passing through one of the walkway areas out of the tower on your way back to the ship, a conversation is supposed to trigger. If you never go back that way, it can't. This apparently can confuse the game into skipping the fight with Renne.

So now I am curious since I went with the right members.

If you don't bring Zane and Schera, what happens? What is the enforcer's fate? Since they seem to be almost mandatory for their fate.

If I recall correctly, when you don't bring Zane against Walter other than being disappointed about Zane's absence he will mutter something about being bored or not interested after you defeat him and fly away after jumping to grab one of those flying archaism used by Ouroboros.

As for Luciola, she will say something along the lines of fate having decided it was yet not the right moment for her and Schera's talk and then proceeds to vanish with her usual technique. If you return to the Arseille right after that you will see Schera waiting for you on the deck and looking a bit gloomy for the missed chance to get her questions answered by Luciola. I think she even feels like something big was avoided that way, meaning her sixth sense was somehow giving her a forewarning of what could have happened had they met.

Again, it's been a while since I read those dialogues so I'm not 100% sure, but that's what I remember.

Thanks very much.

So it's to be thought that Luciola's and Walter's ark are finished now and you could have gotten an incomplete or complete conclusion?

Because for what you described, their fates really seemed very different.
I remember that I was asking myself by the end when everything was falling appart and they were escaping why haven't Zane even thought about checking if Walter managed to escape or if he was still there fainted.

Eh, it sounds a bit too cruel if you put it like it that indeed XD But let's not forget that the situation was critical and they had to run to the exit as fast as they could if they wanted to survive. Plus one would assume that Campanella (or even Bleublanc) from the Glorious would go back to the Axis Pillar to check on their companions.

Also, I heard (without getting myself spoiled) that The 3rd answers some questions about minor things from the first two games, so I wouldn't be surprised if we'll get the truth about this on there as well, including how they dealt with the diverging fates of those two Enforcers (Luciola especially) whether you broght Zane/Schera with you or not. Otherwise I would consider the versions where Luciola falls and Walter is knocked out the real deals and the alternate version as non-canon "what-ifs".
