Run skirmishes against the AI until you actually know what each unit type does and how to use them effectively.
the SEAD missiles used by the Prowler fire automatically at targets they can shoot without your command. The only targets the Prowler missiles can hit are radar based anti aircraft, so the Prowlers job is to kill anti-air so your bombers and helicopters can be safe.
Read it. Still losing.
So, do you just deploy it in an area with anti-air that uses radar? Isn't it going to get shot down then while it flies about looking for a target?
One way is to watch the plane and when it reaches the front line and it hasn't fired yet evac since other aa might start firing. Or micro manage and have it fly along the front line but on your side of it and do circles to see if anything gets picked up.
For the most part, anti-radiation missiles have a longer range than radar anti-air. So if you use them correctly, you can kill the AA without getting your SEAD killed.
And like I said, DO NOT PLAY THE CAMPAIGN UNTIL YOU KNOW THE UNITS AND GAME MECHANICS.
You're just going to keep losing without learning much thanks to the restrictive nature of the campaign's unit availability and the like. Skirmish matches, first with the premade 1980's decks and then ones that you create.
