And about the framerate, it looks like 60 FPS so what seems to be the problem?
I'm no expert on this but isn't 60 FPS the ultimate smootherness anyone can get? Above that is just making the game go faster than it should, no?
I remember if you disabled the FPS limiter in first GTA then it was going so fast you couldn't do anything lol. You wanted to turn around so you turned around three times and so on haha.
Care to elaborate?
Vsync is off, you can tell by tearing in the title screen. The game is hard capped at 60fps not through vsync.
So with 60 that's one frame every 16,7ms, where as 120hz would be 8.3ms resulting in it being smoother due to it drawing more.
A locked fps at 60 can also introduce more input lag, but it will also make your computer work less due to it being limited to a certain amount of frames resulting in less heat
And then there's screen tear etc.
The reason GTA speeded up for you is because they based the game speed on FPS which is a completely stupid idea to do these days.
A proper game wouldn't rely on FPS for game speed, it would be consistent no matter the FPS.
