i was wondering how i delte my files that have for rebirth from steam entirly becuase when i download rebirth my old files are there wich was on my old computer wich had a virus that killled it so i dont want to get that virus again on my brand new computer

The game does not have a virus, I assume you obtained it from other means and it installed itself in that location or used that pathway to open a door for more viruses. Don't download free anti-malware (they are viruses and give fake warnings) or just don't visit suspicious sites.

the games clean, don't worry about downloading it.

prince-nyan i dont mean that issac rebirth gave me viruses i mean i had a virus that download to my comupter and infected everyhting on my old pc with inclued most of my steam games i had but every time i redownload issac rebirth my macafee goes crazy and my dell backup recovery keeps saying make a back up disc

Macafree, thats a fake virus defence. A lot of fake virus defenders open doors for real viruses and flags normal programs to make you think you have to pay $$$$ for the premium upgrade.
If you got a free one, it's just a fake copy pretending to be the real thing.

Anyways, steam will always give you a fresh install from it's servers regardless of your old device.

mcfee once i donwloaded rebirth again lets say the firewall turned off and virus protection turned off

but prince-nyan when i donwload my rebirth it says i have all my stuff from my old computer same as with shovel night and exept terraria thats the only thing that made me start fresh. ops i spelled mcfee rong in the last comment.

dont use mcfee. it's pretty much a fake anti-virus. I reccomend getting both Avast antivirus and MalwareBytes. both are free and great at protecting your computer.

When both are downloaded they should start doing an mandatory startup scan.

Only thing I can think of would be deleting and disabling your cloud save maybe.

Avg is iffy In my opinion but it should be ok. i myself decided to delete it from my pc. but that's up to you. ever since i have installed those 2 antivirus programs i have not had any viruses.
