[SOLVED] SteamVR trolls me, headset not really detected. Need some help & advices.
Hello, so I'll explain you my problem.

I have the PlaystationVR, I tried to make it work in SteamVR with Trinus, headset detected by Trinus, but not by Steam. I installed all possible drivers I've found. I gived up for the PSvr after weeks of struggle, so I tried the Trinus version for phones. Same thing, phone detected, connected to pc, but Steam can't see it. After weeks and weeks of researches to find why this damned SteamVR can't detect anything, I gived up.BUT, some days ago, I bought the Windows Mixed Reality (HP headset). It works alone, with the Mixed Reality Portal, Cliff House, Minecraft VR, all that stuff. Sadly, SteamVR do the same thing. Installed Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR, drivers, etc... Again, same troll. Every times, it shows me a connected headset and go to "standby mode". But, there's no real headset detected. While I was trying things with Trinus, I modified some *.vrsetting files, I assume the problem is maybe because of these files, or some hidden drivers not installed properly. When I launch VR games without connected headset, they don't work. When it's plugged in, the game is launched, detects headset, but I can't go through it. I can only see it in my desktop window in the Cliff House.

I'm lost, I need help. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible that you have a file that creates a fake headset (maybe for use of TrinusVR) that is what you getting there?
I am trying to remember where the file for it is... maybe someone else remembers and can post it, maybe if you just delete it and verify local files for SteamVR it will work?

You're my savior ! :'D Thanks a lot, it was exactly that ! I found in Drivers folder a "null" folder, just deleted it and now my headset is detected.

Thanks again !
