SteamVR 1.14.16 error; VR headset not connected? Yes it is. Pimax HMD
New steamvr update, and my headset is not any more "connected" with steamvr. I do see pimax start picture in my HMD, and oculus games work via pitool. Last time when that happened, I opted out from steamvr beta. Now I can not opt out from regular steamvr.
I tried restart several time, no help.

Same problem as quoted above. I have a Pimax 5k+ and yesterday SteamVR was working, but after 1.14.15 update the HMD is not being detected anymore.

same on with support now.
I gave them logs and pointed them directly at the log that is obviously the issue but they're wasting my time by refusing to help me unless I send them a systeminfo file.
Its sent now so hopefully they stop wasting my time.

OK, the solution is to re-enable everything except OOvrinputemulator - that was problem.

what is OOvrinputemulator and where did you enable everything

Steamvr > settings > startup/shutdown > manage add-ons.
2st row is for overlay programs, I use "OVR Advanced settings" and sometimes "FpsVR"
2nd row are plugins (german = Erweiterungen), I have enabled Pimax, Hydra and Gamepad support, and disabled "OOvrinputemulator"

what does that exe have to do with steamvr?

It is a Plugin for Motion Cancellation. You need it, when you have a motion cockpit. It calculates the seatmovement away from head movement with a HTC Tracker. So you do not kiss the steeringwheel in VR anymore. :D
