If you like platformers, most definitely.
yup!
Yes, especially since you get any future additions for free.

yes
Honestly, it's worth every penny. If you like old school games, then you should buy it.
♥♥♥♥ yes!
One of the best platformers I've ever played.

I bought it today :)
Congratulations :P

Be sure to tell us what you think. Both shovel and plague knight might have a little bit of a learning curve. After you get used to them though, they feel great and unique. Pro tip - If you are playing on a controller, and feel the pogo is a bit awkward - remap "down" to right trigger. Makes it much more comfortable :)

But then don't you have to hold right trigger to climb down ladders? Just seems like that would be a bit awkward to me.

You can actually double-bind, so both works at the same time.

Even without doublebinding though - there are very few places you actually climb ladders down. The few places you have to climb down, you also have ample time to "remember" where your down button is. Whereas pogoing is used in almost every screen in every level. Often you will need to pogo while moving, and this can be very unreliable and awkward with a control stick. With down bound to R2/RT - as long as you hold it down, you will be pogoing on everything.

Have to admit though, the first time I was going "Down" on the worldmap, I was kinda confused since it wouldn't let me. Why was I not allowed back in the city ? Of course I'd just forgotten where my down button was XD
