Why are people complaining about the price?
I've seen actual dated games that nolonger recive updates get their prices raised. Their adding alot of content and its still not an expensive game. Its actually already an cheap game.

It's comparatively pricey when compared to other independent games (look, for example, at Hollow Knight or even Cuphead, both of which appear to have higher production values), plus the fact that the most it gets of discount is a 20% feels weaksauce, again when compared to what you usually see at Steam Sales.

That would make sense, actually, but a lot of them don't actually mention those games. In fact, I think back when the price-complain bandwagon was at its most popular, Cuphead wasn't even announced yet. But I could be wrong.

Yeah when you bring up those games which are newer shovel knight is expensive. Hell I guess it is expensive because they got to be making some money off of the amibo.

Yeah, they're newer. And their graphics are more appealing to most people. That doesn't mean you can say Shovel Knight is expensive just because they're cheaper.
