Anybody know how to explain it to him without spoilers?
Never had this problem before this last patch (in the early access). Always played just fine for me, please help.
Even if it's the AV, how can it be possible Steam says I'm still in game even after I restart the PC? I didn't even launch the game after I restart the PC. But it's still there, it says the game running but I didn't even launch it. If i try to launch it says the game already running. No process in task manager etc..
I don't know how to explain this really. I would like this bug though, if it lets me play the game...
We are doomed...
Can you play the game?
Yeah fortunately it lets us play another game.
I'm kinda leaning towards deleting the game files but scared of destroying my Steam completely
Yeah, I am guessing the last patch bungled up the game files somehow and we'll have to delete and reinstall eventually, but let's wait for Styg's reply :)
I'm guessing that's what caused my issue with Conquest of Elysium 4 after its latest patch as well.
The weird thing is restarting my comp didn't help to get rid of the game (I didn't even have it in the task manager at all in the first place). I just killed off Steam, uninstalled the game and redownloaded it. Then I upgraded to Avast 2016 which seems to solve the problem.
After updating to the most recent hotfix, I now have this probelm. I could play Underrail fine previously.
I have 2 Underrails using 0% computer power in the task manager that I can't kill unless I restart my entire computer. Validated game cache, steam will launch other games.
