Tip: The Steam version of Knock-Knock is DRM-free

The executable does not require Steam to run, so you can go to your Steamapps folder, find knock.exe and create a shortcut for it. You can also move or copy the entire game folder somewhere else if you want to.

Of course, you won't get your Steam achievements if you launch it outside of Steam, but it's still useful.

Copying the game to another computer won't keep your save files, since these are saved in the register. Thanks to uka7777 for pointing this out in another thread.

Now I feel like an idiot for asking IPL for the installer...

juliusz.horst, don't be sad! :) Wr actually plan to update the installer so that it doesn't require a key. So, DRM-free all around.
