Hi Cyberkids,

Jazzpunk is coming to your favorite computainment device in less than one month's time, courtesy of the talented lads at Necrophone Games. We're super excited about this release and we hope you are, too. Don't be ashamed of your feelings. Let it out. We're here for you.

Check this space on the regular for news and updates leading up to Jazzpunk's release on Feb. 7, 2014. In the meantime, let's get those creative juices flowing with some Jazzpunk launch party ideas:

  • Serve spaghetti and meatballs but replace spaghetti with USB cables
  • Turn out all the lights and play modem sounds at top volume
  • Invite guests over one hour prior to release and make them wait outside until game launches
  • Fold napkins into nifty shapes
  • Funny cupcakes!

February 7 can't get here fast enough.

All the Best,

Adult Swim Games

Hi there, looking forward to the game! You're now at the top of my wishlist.

Couple of questions:

1) The current Humble widget pre-purchase price is $15. Is that cheaper than the price will be after it is officially released, so it is a saving to pre-purchase?

2) Will you be issuing Steam keys for buyers via Humble widget, or will that be DRM-free only?

3) Which method would you prefer people buy via: Steam or Humble? I know that some developers like people to buy through Steam because it raises their status in the Top Sellers list.

Thank you for your help!

Glad you're excited about the game!

1) Although the Steam price is not on the page yet, we will also be on sale for $15. However as is typical for Steam releases, there will be a launch week discount TBD.

2) The release of Steam keys to Humble widget customers is up to Necrophone. Adult Swim Games is not publishing Jazzpunk via the Humble widget.

3) Per the above, if you choose to buy the game via the Humble widget, you are directly supporting Necrophone, which is a very nice thing to do! But as you say, buying the game via Steam can help elevate its visibility in the store. My advice: buy it twice!

Hope that helps!

I just got off the Necrophone comlink and was informed that anyone purchasing the game via the Humble widget will also receive a Steam code directly from Necrophone central.

Excellent, thanks very much for all the info. I saw your first comment this morning and meant to reply, then your second comment reminded to do so. I think I will wait to see what the pre-purchase discount is like when buying via Steam opens up and decide which way to buy then. Cheers!

Pre-ordered this badboy already. granom this is good news. You deserve a raise.:money: Fat stacks o cash.

Jon pay full price and stop being a scrooge.( :sadpanda: <-- this is you right now. sad. disgraceful.) Lend these dev's some sugar, they are your neighbors. 15 bucks for an original game idea that looks this good - I'm doubting you will have any regrets whatsoever.
