P.S. I actually like furries. Just giving it a different point of view.
While not a furry, I love this game because it's fun and I honestly think the animals are a cool bit of worldbuilding in a non-generic fantasy game.
Much like the majority of fools that take one look at the public media as they slam the world of furry, you've dismissed the sub-culture as a pack of sex-hungry, transformationalist, 'self-important' heretics that are, somehow, out to ruin your impirical views. So, One; Congratulations on proving yourself to be an asshat and Two; take some time and do real research on a group before you bash them in a public forum because you, sir, have not. Also, save your retort, I won't be returning to this thread to read your backpedalling.
As to the topic at hand, from one "heretic" to another, I'm fully intrigued by this game and will be picking it up at my earliest convenience. It looks like fun, furry characters and all.
Did anyone ever watch ANYTHING as a kid that had these kinds of characters? Does that make you a furry? Has anyone put any thought into this for more than a second?
Humanity sometimes.
Me too. Not a fan of furries, but I like the good realisations. "Dust: An Elysian Tale" was a gem, for example.
Nice piece of satire, Battle-Brother Lux. And remember, an open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded.
Fin.
And ha wasn't being mean to furries, he was trying to defend the game to people who don't like furries. Because it isn't a game about furries, not because he hates furries. That persecution complex...
Aside from that, I just like running around videogames as an animal. You get cool powers you can't have as a human without technological agumentation (like the bunnies' jumping ability, or a Khajit's badass claws) And you get to experience and learn about a culture with an entirely different basis, for example, rabbits are prey animals, so their culture will have a lot hinging on keeping their villages hidden and well defended from stronger beings.
If it helps, don't think about them as animals, or people in fur costumes, think of them as alien beings.
It's an internet, 4-chan debate. The furries were pushy, posting their kind of porn insted of the more "generic" kinds of porn, other users get peeved, generally diss furries everywhere, furries outside 4-chan get up in arms about it, and this huge deal starts up with furries growing a huge victim complex that makes them act like stuck up arses every time you make fun of them, and everyone else hating on furries every chance they get, because it's fun to see them rage.
I don't find it amusing or important at all, and neither do most normal people, including most in this thread.
