Yes, I live under a rock.
Why you base your decision to own a game based off some political bull or a dev having a different stance is pretty beyond me.
EDIT: looked it up. Journalism, sexism... who gives a rats ass, its entertainment. Worry about some real ♥♥♥♥.
This was settled months ago and the GG crowd were who started it in the first place. They took something David (not Wolfire, just David) said out of context and then went to the shout out video for the Haphead project and spammed the comments section with their unrelated posts and lies about Overgrowth and Wolfire (you know, sort of like you are doing it here). At some point David decided that enough was enough and told everyone that if you can't support the game because it goes against your internet faith, go ahead and request a refund.
Twitter is just a cancer to meaningful communication. If this had happened on a platform that allowed people to actually talk to each other, this would have never happened. There wouldn't have been any chance for people misunderstanding him the way they did or to wilfully take things out of context in order to start this whole ♥♥♥♥ storm.
By the way, here is the blog post David and Totalbiscuit wrote together after the whole mess. I have a feeling that no one who decides to complain about it has ever read it. Or they have decided to ignore it...
