Login For EA Account/Cerberus Failed?
Having an issue logging into cerberus. All my info IS correct, since I can sign into Origin, and the website just fine. For some reason, however, within Mass Effect 2, it claims, repeatedly, my information is wrong. How is this fixed?

I even went as far as changing the password via the game, and low and behold, it did NOT change it for Origin or the webpage, so uh... wha?

What exactly is going on here?

I had this problem every time I launch the game. But it occurs once, only after launch, when the game try to connect by itself. Then I can log in wihtout any problems just typing login and password in menu by myself (though I have ME2 as dvd collectors edition - words "collectors edition" sounds funny with this particural game :D ).

Anyway, try to add ME2 as exception in your firewall. Maybe game just can't connect with the EA servers.

You can allways compare serial number displeyed in game config hd:\ME2 directory\Binaries\MassEffect2Config.exe with serial number of your registered ME2 copy (should be the same). It seems obvious, but last time I've installed my dvd copy after uninstal game previously downloaded via Origin, installer ddin't ask for serial number (and installer allways demanded key). I was wondering how is that possible, but then I've realized that it was allready in config files. But problem with serial numbers could happend only if you have more than one copy of ME2 or you have installed game on PC which has remaining config from another ME2 copy.

In other case, lifechat with EA support could help.

I hadn't thought of the firewall idea, I'll try it in a bit and let you know. Running out of HD space currently xD

Their Livechat... eh... Not always helpful when you have to go through them, AND steam xD
