Stuck at the top of the tower after beating 3rd Boss.

I'm stuck or at least I'm in a huge pickle. I beat the orb boss and I dropped all the way down to the bottom like you're supposed to but there is no indication that you are not supposed to reclimb the tower back up past the lighting maze field.

It has now checkpointed me to to the top of the tower after having gotten passed the lightening maze field and I have NO WAY back down, other then maybe doing it backwards.

I'm stuck. Does ANYONE know how I can get back down the tower? I tried to go back through the orb boss room but it's blocked off now and I can't fall back down the tower that way.

Please for the love of all that is holy help me. I have all but two scrolls.

I do not want to start over.

OK so if someone reads this, I got back down.

I did the lightening maze field backwards, yes you read that correctly.

I went from the orb boss room that was blocked, since he was defeated, back down through the room where that guy is dead, by the king's hand and back to the main tunnel room with the lightening maze.

I got check-pointed at the top of it, where you get the scroll if you hit that button, and then I slowly descended it backwards back to the checkpoint.

I basically did it backwards.

Whew, glad that is over!

Let this be a warning to anyone that tries what I did, DON'T GO BACK TO THE ORB BOSS ROOM or you'll have to do what I did. It's a good challenge though.

We have some ideas for making both the orb room and tower shaft more accessible. I'm sorry that it's a bit clunky.

While we are working on the console releases we are doing updates to the desktop version as well, so hopefully we might have some time to tweak that area a bit.

Wait. You're not supposed to go up there for the story? I've been trying for like an hour. (probably would be done by now but I keep slipping outside the beam and falling back down).

Good thing I read this, because otherwise I would be forced to come down backwards as well and I don't think I quite have the skill for that.

We made a loop on the side that makes it easier to bypass that portion, provided you've got the staff.

That will certainly help future players avoid doing what I had to do.

I am surprised that after YEARS this discussion is still towards the top. I'm glad that my goof up, actually lead to a patch that helps players get unstuck from there and this is still one of my greatest gaming achievements to date.
