Easy fix for "Your client is out of date."
If you receive a message that your game client is out of date when you try to join a public or private server, it means that Steam hasn't auto-updated your NEStalgia client.

To solve the problem, right-click NEStalgia in your Steam Library and select "Delete Local Content". Once that is finished, right-click NEStalgia again to re-install the game. This process will ensure that you have the latest version of the game installed on your system.
