Combat Chat bug

Every run I have done so far, at some point the chat or log stops updating specifically combat actions. At a point, every fight turns into blindly selecting melee and hoping that I win, because I can't see the outcome of any of my actions or what my opponent is doing. I don't exactly know what is causing it, but every run it happens. I think it may happen when I am ambushed while sleeping.

hi what happens if you try setting some noise traps, (or save and reload the game, does is still always happen at that point, or just some time later?)

When I save and reload it fixes it but only for a time and then I'd have to do it again. I didn't notice if noise traps did anything to fix it but i wasn't really looking out for an interaction there so I'll keep my eyes out next time

ah ok, another thing you can try is to check the setting for your flash memory allocation. (if a popup appears asking if you want to allow flash to save some data, it might let you set a value, id set it to something large like 50megs or something or no limit for the game,in case it was set to a small value by default. but careful if you have any auto computer cleaners/ av, as they might need to be trained to ignore the flash saving folders
