Forza Horizon 6

Forza Horizon 6

Pretty terrible micro-stuttering.
I have 16GB of RAM, an Intel Core i5-12450H CPU and a 4GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU, and I know the VRAM is a bottleneck, but only a few days ago I was running Forza Horizon 4 on medium-high settings pretty smoothly, and I've also been able to run modded Assetto Corsa, namely Shutoko Revival Project, relatively smoothly as well in the past, even with multiple AI cars, so comparing that to the stuttery mess I get when trying to play Forza Horizon 6 even on low settings, I'm weirded out and disappointed. I still love this game and the series, but the lag makes it annoying to play, and even cruising around is dissatisfactory. It starts from the moment I launch the game, too. I've tried changing the resolution, changing the anti-aliasing options, changing up the graphics settings, changing and unlocking the FPS, but nothing really changes in terms of the performance. All I can do is hope that there is some sort of fix that I haven't tried, or that the game gets patched and I can play it as smoothly as everything else. I did search online and saw that other people were having a similar issue, so I hope it gets the attention of the developers.

accepted that its just from my gpu's lack of vram, and i am on a laptop so its not like i can replace it anytime soon. i've read other people saying this, but low vram versions of these gpus should never have been made (just like me) so idiots (again, like me) wouldnt end up stuck with them because they were focusing on other details when purchasing a laptop. sad that it happened like this, especially since i was so excited for this game, but i guess i'll have to wait a lot longer to play it properly. all i can hope for is that the devs optimize vram usage in a patch, but im really not holding my breath because i've learned to not expect anything good anymore.
It does not help, but a lot of people are having same problem on high end hardware.
I have a intel core 5 120 "new model of the i5 12400" 32gb ram and a 5060. I get 100fps avg on ultra settings but I get micro stutters. Almost like the car is not moving smoothly. Im happy its not just me.
I run AMD 7900XT here. I stopped the stuttering by disabling Frame Generation (AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2.1 - Manual) through AMD Adrenalin Software, and disabled AMD FSR 3.1.5 AA in Video-> Anti-aliasing setting. Everything else, including Ray-tracing, are set to max. Hope this works for you guys too.

It's not VRAM related unfortunately I am having the exact same issue with a 3090...
