Report a translation problem
What I usually do (whether it’s a mod map, a regular one, or an AOD) is create a new folder inside that map’s directory. Then I just cut and paste the .str and .ini files into it—kind of like putting the kids in the other room so the grown-ups can work.
Once the map loads up in the editor and you’re done tweaking things, just move the files back where they belong.
It’s a weird little trick, but it works—and it’s also a sneaky way to keep your map from being casually edited by folks who don’t know about it. Call it “map editing on hard mode.” 😄
