Hopefully someone will fix this.
But this might explain why rising games isn't showing a lot of screenshots or video...
that is a stupid move if i may.
Dark Souls had no excuse neither does this.
but I don't think it's fair to call it a "Dark Souls quality port", unless the controls are horrendous (anybody have any more news about it?)
(The game will still be amazing so if this is the only version you can get your hands on I'd recommend it)
Please correct me if I am wrong, but despite the locked resolution, isn't the PC version still the superior version thanks to the unlocked frame-rate and all the additional content that has been added to the Director's Cut?
Let me tell you a little secret - Japanese developers mostly spat on PC gaming.
Maybe we saved
Yup. And it's about time people realised what a PORT actually is.
A port implies that it is the same version as the original. If it functions at least as well as the system it was ported from, it is successful. Obviously a full blown PC version (with all the options that entails) is preferable, but for a devs first porting job this will obviously be the best version of the game available, if that's not good enough for you then by all means don't buy it. It's sad that people won't pay attention because it doesn't nativley render at whatever resolution they are running, it's crazy.
I guess it is, but when I purchased the PC version I was looking for both framerate and proper 1080p resolution to match my display native res. Some AA would have been nice too.
It's not really one of the best looking games out there and upscaling won't do it any better.
@OMEGAlomaniac
Is options like unlocked framerate and resolution on PC too much to ask? I'm sorry I have standards.
