Fix for looping car sound

If you have the problem with the car handbrake sound looping try setting your windows sound down from 5.1 to regular 2 speakers given you're on 5.1 or higher, works perfect for me!

My config is set on stereo and still can hear those looping car sounds.

Really? ♥♥♥♥, they really need to fix it soon, I mean even small things like that as soon as possible to help cause that was one of the main things stopping me from playing it.

If it doesn't work try the following:

·Plug some common stereo headphones into your pc.
·Go into windows' Playback Devices.
·Make sure those headphones are the default device.
·Go into windows' Recording Devices.
·Enable Stereo Mix and make it default.
·Edit its properties and check "Listen to this device" and right below that, select to play through your actual speakers.

This should do. I recommend doing it while playing some .mp3 or something so you can check the sound comes from where it's supposed to.

If you cant (or don't want to) plug in headphones and use stereo mix, you can download a free application called Voice meter which will allow you to force stereo output.
Once you install it just click the S on the virtual input.
I've confirmed this works and fixes this sound bug.
