Oculus Rift support
Is the oculus rift implemented in the version downloadable through steam? If so how can I turn it on? If not, when will it be ready for the oculus? Thanks!

It's not yet currently implemented, but it should be once I get my devkit. It should work without the official support, I believe. If not, I'll get my devkit in the coming months, I believe :)

Thank you for changing my life firemonkey1866. I had never heard about Oculus Rift before, and I thought it was just another post-processing companion to games (Tri-Def Ignition, SweetFX, ENB, etc). Nevertheless, I wanted to google it... hey, anything that makes my games better - either by looking better with effects, adding stereoscopic 3D, or unlocking hidden settings like FXAA or MLAA, things like that - is always welcome by me. But I wasn't prepared for what I found.
Ho Lee Sheet.
This is going to be one of those things that once you use it, you wonder how you ever played games without it. It will definitely change the face of first-person gaming, and the whole industry as a whole, in a way that we have never seen before. People are going to start making first-person games more than any other now, just so that people can take advantage of the Rift. And while I don't get into first-person games all that much (at least not shooters), I AM really big on immersion (my Skyrim active mods list is close to 200), and it doesn't get much more immersive than this.
Thank you for mentioning it on here. I am now going to be following this through it's development, and will definitely be one of the first people to get it when it goes consumer. I know I can get a dev kit, but I would rather wait for the official released one. Who knows what may change between now and then.

The ONLY thing that I can think of that could make this better, and I am sure that I am not the only person that has thought of this, is if it were used in conjunction with a motion controller, like Kinect, Move or Wii. THAT would be frickin amazing. And if no one HAS thought of something like that, you can say "Hey, this guy on Steam said something like that way back in 2013!" when someone eventually DOES combine them haha.

Also, I was reading that there are a couple of different programs or drivers that allow you to use it with a lot of games now. Kinda like the stereoscopic 3D program I mentioned earlier.... so if you have one now, and want to see if Paranormal works with it, I would see if you could use one of those solutions until Matt officially implements support for it.

I've played this with Nvidia's 3D Vision and it works with Depth at 1% and Convergence pulled out just before the shadows start to break. Works wonderfully! The dream sequences really stand out.
