Bone Desert Boss
So, how do you beat the Bone Desert Final Boss (Normal mode)? I took out all the other enemies easily, but this guy just waltzed through my maze, barely taking any damage at all. It was ridiculous, and I'm not sure what I would do differently if I played the run again. Is there a trick to this? I must be missing something.

Do you have a some long range high damage towers set to highest health. if you place them far out you can drop the boss by round 5.
Wait. You're saying I can hit the boss before the final wave? I thought only the big canon could do that, once every two rounds.

Hmm... So, because I lost I have to start all the way from the beginning. What "long range high damage tower" should I try to get?

And when you say "set to highest health", do you just mean "upgraded"?

Sorry for my confusion.
I'm with you. I've gotten to the boss multiple runs and couldn't beat it or even come close. If you can damage it sooner then that's a game changer...

You can also use high attack speed fire towers (Flamethrower tower or Torch tower) to trigger Burn on the boss!

Wow, I never even noticed that. Thanks!
You don't even need long range towers in many cases as you can put blocks very near him. The laser towers can target him for instance and have good range and high damage for low cost, and are useful after he moves back as well. Fire/burn also works well. My favorite towers in general are the sniper towers that work VERY well against him, but can also be used to take out tons of enemies later on with the first upgrade (don't need the upgrade initially when just shooting him. They have huge range which lets you set them up strategically while still thashing him.

If you have the green flame (gains levels as it kills), you can let it kill the enemies for the first position itself, while focusing all your damage on the boss. Still can mostly focus on the boss for the second position as well and might even kill him by the end of that depending on your setup.

Green flame seems to be the best, as it caries over from level to level gaining more and more damage, so set it up to kill the first few rounds of each level, and it'll have 15+ damage by the boss fight, easily able to take out the first few rounds of enemies (especially if you set up a maze near it). Sniper turrents can cause burn AND do high damage, and boost damage the boss takes (if you take the second upgrade for one of them). It's a very high damage combination that you can set up by the second location easily.

I heart sniper and missile towers. Few others are great as well, but those are just so yum. Missile sets up chill on enemies if upgraded in that direction from very large ranges while hitting tons of enemies. Sniper does great dmg vs big monsters/bosses but with first upgrade it deals with large groups forced in small coridors easily, and the other upgrade has faster fire rate and increased damage for all attacks which can be set to highest hp monster to target bosses/big monsters and destroy them fast.

Fan + frost towers and arcane arrow towers are also awesome and very high damage per coin cost. Lave towers and bomb towers (ones that drop the bombs on the track) can also rock hard if positioned right.

Love this game:)
