Here we go...knew one would pop in sooner or later.
Didn't you ever learn that only a Sith deals in absolutes?
You coded insult falls on deaf ears but to awnser your question:
Some fighters such as parasoul have a combo that if they manage to pin you in a corner...
Just drop the crontroler/take your hands of the keyboard becuase you ARE NOT escaping it.
Well yeah, if you're not even trying to, of course you're not going to escape it.
On the one hand, if a player's capacity to fight you crumbles unless they have you in a corner, that might mean that their only strength is to have their opponent in the corner; showing some sort of lack of skill.
On the other hand, if a player is able to keep putting you into the corner effectively (usually requiring that they have some basic combat skills outside of the corners) that can be an exhibition of skill for the simple fact that they are controlling the stage and forcing you into a bad position.
I personally try to ensure I have both a non-corner gameplan and a corner gameplan both on the offensive and the defensive.
If you got put in the corner you deserve to be there
a lot of characters like Valentine WANT to put you in the corner, that's their goal. They win the neutral game and then put you in the corner and put you in a blender, that's their goal. If they somehow got you in the corner then you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

You were saying? Also, I'm female.:3
If you aren't already aware, you should be placing great importance on fighting for space on the map, because if you aren't you'll be put in the corner and killed. So yes, people who can 'only fight in the corner' are not that good. I just don't think I can identify them, because if they don't know how to put you in the corner how will they ever showcase their one skill? They HAVE to have a gameplay midscreen that puts you in the corner where you get killed. Gee, that sounds like a solid gameplan utilised by good players!
So yeah, players who put you in the corner and kill you there are good. I have never run into a player who was only good in the corner. Or maybe I have. Just don't let them put you there and you'll never know.
