Failed to install ACE service, please make sure files of ACE are complete and unoccupied, or restart the computer and try again. (1-1701-1)
Upon trying to play the game, this message appears. I tried reinstalling the game and my restarting my computer. Neither worked. Any solutions?

To try help you I must say what ACE is. First from the company that makes it.

However what you are not being told by that is the program that gathers data from your system and does not uninstall when you uninstall the game. It also root kits itself to your system and gets kernel level access. It is possible to uninstall it with some research.

The very high access level is needed to stop the cheaters, but the main issue most people have is that they do not trust the company that makes ACE, if you do some digging you will see. Also post(s) about ACE seem to be going missing or locked, which I must admit does not help with the existing trust issues.

If don't mind all that and still want to install the game, my recommendation is to disable any third party virus protection your system might have for the installation then re enable it after the install as it might be seeing the installation of ACE as a threat.

I've already answered the question about discussions that have been deleted or locked.

Locked or deleted threads were either :
-Either when I replied, or when we went around the subject.
-Either because they contained racist messages.
-Or because they contained conspiracy theories.

You have the right to have an opinion about ACE, you do what you want. You don't have the right to make racist comments on any subject, you don't have the right to spread conspiracy theories or deliberately misinform people.

All discussions about ACE will now be fuisioned to this discussion for clarity.

the game is fine lol. again, i think its karmatic and hilarious that people dont get to play it due to believing something they dont understand.

I cannot agree with the interpretation presented, however, some say personal choice is the only true freedom we really have. After reading the post and that's what you want believe the that's that, that and, happy gaming ;)
