How to reduce lag (Solved)
I have just bought Space Engineers having seen many many videos of the game. I loaded it up for the first time, and even on the lowest graphic and display settings, the game slows constantly, taking at least a minute or two to even load worlds. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

I don't know. Is there a way to find this information on my computer?

windows button+r and then type dxdiag

In system you find your ram&cpu
Display 1 you'll find your graphic card

i will say this now. if you just about meet/pass the minimum requirement or even the recomended. you will have alot of fps issues. if its "lag" as in general game fps loss then uncheck alot of world settings. like sun rotation, cargo ships, drones and exploration ships. make sure your asteroid count is lowest in the custom world advanced settings as well as object count.

atm low end pcs will suffer the most and probably wont get better until maybe... another year or more? (guess) they need alot of optimization. but its to be expected at this present time. :) so after doing all that, if you arent satisfied with it go for a refund and buy it when its finished. :)

i hope this helps.

It says I have a 64-bit system. My memory is 6144mb ram. Anyway I can remove the endless lag?

The loading times are always longish, adding mods and well established game with lots of ships can literallly take twenty mins to half hour to load on a good PC (This is ealry access and therefore unoptimized game etc.).

Umm..20-30mins? And what is "good PC" in this case?

I'm having lag issues on an empty world.

well 150 mods=your download speed is slowing you down. lets say avg mod is 2mb thats 300mb of mods

yeah i have a i7 4790k, 1tb hdd, 8gb, gtx 780 phantom and the most load time i have is like 3mins, if that. thats with 20ish mods on. if it does it with vanilla something is terribly wrong. lol

150 mods yeah that will do it. :P might want to cut some back... :D

I have no mods installed. As for specs, I'm not entirely sure what you are refering to by this nor do I know where I can find this information.

My computer has intel core i3 cpu and is running on Windows 7 if this information helps.

I'm using dxdiag to check. According to it, my operating system is Windows 7 home premium 64-bit (6.1, build 7601).
