Option to disable auto-jetpack?
I've built a large mining vehicle some weeks ago while playing with friends on the earthlike planet and in order to conserve hydrogen and having no need to jetpack up to it again and again, I've built a ladder on it's side.
But everytime I climb up the ladder and reach the top, the jetpack activates automatically and dampeners turn to auto, somewhat diminishing my intention to conserve hydrogen by NOT using the jetpack.
Is there a way to disable the jetpack from activating once I reach the top of a ladder?
So far I've seen this only happens with large vehicles, when I climb up a ladder on the base on the ground, which is a static grid, the jetpack doesn't activate once I reach the top.

Strange, I noticed that happen to me earlier as well when using a ladder. Let me know if you find a fix.

As far as I know the jetpack will stay off if the ladder is part of a static grid (Station) and there is gravity.

But on a mobile grid it will auto activate.

There are mods that get rid of the auto activation.

Hi, it should not enable the jetpack auto on planets but Yes if in space.

IF it is on planet = I recommend to send your save in a new bug report on the Support Portal (see pinned) so the SE programmer can have a look at the bug you found.

testet it as i added a ladder to my WIP in Space. closed the gap between the ladder and the girder mesh with a half slope block. no jetpack turned on for me

Well, if you kindly tell me, what file I should attach (I researched, where the savegames are but there are a ton of files), I'd gladly do it :)

This is not new, it is an old and well-known bug with several existing reports on the Keen support site. It is unlikely to be fixed though, we just have to live with it.

Just reproduce the bug in a new Empty world, save/exit and click the "Publish" button on the left to publish your save on the Workshop and just paste the item link in your report.
