Eh, from the not-so-many hours I've played i feel like it's (In no particular order, just tier groups)

A: S-Kill, Shoals
B: Kick, Markman, Kung Pao, Redacted
C: Mr.N, Sensei, Dive, Stream, Kenny
D: Baz, Jefailey

EDIT: added D-group coz what the heck

EDIT: Moved the tiers around, and now attempting to organize in both tier group and order. discuss...

Haha, that tier list right there is what I was already thinking in my head. I didn't know enough about Redacted yet. I feel like sensei might have greater potential, but maybe I am wrong. I use Shoals but sometimes feel a bit dirty with her, and I want to get good with S-kill.

If i were to add a D-group i'd throw Dive, and Jefailey in there (and the rest still C).

I still need to play a lot more Sensei tbh. As I said, its just an opinion on a few hours of playing so far.

Put Kenny in S. He's to unpredictable, you cant learn MU vs him.

The problem with Kenny is that if he ends up with characters that are good because of their specials (S-Kill, Markman) it puts him at a major disadvange in a MU where the opponent is good against said character eg. S-Kill with no parry vs. a Kung or Kick/Dive..... lol

Well, he can be at least B i think.

Why is Kick so much better than Dive anyway? I've been maining Kick because I found out on my own that he's way better than Dive.

- Faster Kick. Means he can reposition better and make better responses/counter attacks. Also, his air special.
- Better Neutral/Threat & Line Control, because of point one, and Party Starter threatens your opponent's ability to play the neutral game, especially if you're in the right distance to PS->Kill, and this forces your opponent to have to reposition, and naturally can provide you the opportunity to go in for the kill if they make a mistake

Compared to Dive: Dive IMO has the worst skillset in the game, and this by default makes him worse than Kick.

Dive is amazing since he really loses out to nobody but Kick, everyone else would at least be an equal match or better in Dive's favor. Dive is top tier. Play him for Kickfactor and use your skills only when needed. Kickfactor Dive is, in my opinion, scarier than Kickfactor kick.

Markman is top tier IMO

Markman's thing where he puts a spring in the middle is deadly as hell.

Killian and Shoal are highest imo, and I feel markman is definatley next.

I'm surprised this topic fell off Page 1 (Damn troll threads).

I suppose we should discuss all things tier related some more.

@Darxio. You are kind of correct in your assestment. Dive is solid (played a little with him, and yeah he can work), but he still has the issue of having a weak skill set. His ground special is too slow to use on getting the spring on opponents, and if you're using his air special for mind games, chances are you were already in a good position in the first place.

Overall i personally feel that whenever you're in a position that feel you need to be using his specials. You're either a) already winning in positional play, or b) losing position and getting desparate for an answer.

Gonna reorganize the tiers a bit. Discuss...

The thing with Markman is you can't really play the waiting game against him. You need to muscle into his turf asap.

The moment he moves an inch you sic him. Great specials, really great specials, but the kick is weak. Also, headshots are his worst enemy.

Stream should be moved down and Baz should replace his spot in C tier IMO
