recon needs nerfs badly.
The game is supposed to be strategic/tactical, yet we have recon who have permanent mobility run, longest stealth, and have abusable hopping while stealthed, gibing them both stealth and ridiculously abused mobility that makes it hard to aim at since it's both moving fast and has cloaking to distort its figure and make it harder to aim at.

Recon needs to have this crap disabled while cloaked, i've seen it abused so many times like det pack dropping/rush for example. Where is the strategy and tactical aspect in this? This is Halo level ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ honestly.

Cloak is already slightly less effective while moving.

Motion vision is the best counter to detpack rushes.

What else do you propose?

Spoiler: nobody will do anything about it, don't waste your time.
Detpak rushes are difficult and really high risk, half the time the recon is going to die to it's own bomb or get gutted on the way because they are defenseless until the pack drops.

they're overloaded. they have too much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. let me add this as well, even if you're an assault against a recon, your kinetic vision still doesn't counter the fact that they can jump out of a corner with massive mobility and spray you before you can turn fast enough to aim at them.
You're trying too hard to only focus on one thing rather than looking at the problem the recon class is as a whole.
Listen, if you feel it is bad, I'd say don't play. When I go on and I pick Recon, I look forward to bunnyhopping. It's quite easy to emulate and some classes though.

uh no, it's a recon exclusive ability that uses their energy the sam way running uses energy on assault. other classes can't emulate it because it's a recon only ability that lets them jump that ridiculous distance.

there's no merit. It's like kids in league tryharding in bronze with Yi, Jax, or Xin with sated devourer and rageblade.

Seriously though, you can learn the rush timings and common routes with fairly reasonable amount of effort. Then it's just a matter of holding/prenading those or otherwise adapting to minimize the damage. Of course the timings fluctuate with different players but you have 7 rounds to adjust.

Any recon is pretty much screwed running into double assault crossfire. There are reasons teams don't run 5 recon setups in comp.
