Tire Squeal

Hi, just an observation, but does it seem strange to anyone else that there is a large amount of tire squeal even at very low speeds?
I understand this may be a limitation of what can be achieved with game audio? but turning a corner under 50kph and having your fresh set of semi slicks squealing away under your car seems a bit odd.
I am using a Xbox 360 pad mind you, and i have noticed it is extremely difficult to turn the wheel smoothly, still I have never experience this whilst driving cars even fairly quickly through tight and twisty corners before.

Thoughts anyone?

btw these impressions are based on the pre-alpha tech demo , for all I know it may have been improved in the early access alpha.

I wonder if the temperature you have set (I think 10C is the minimum?) is effecting your tires. The colder weather would certainly have an effect.
