This is the first thing i though... 3 pages of rep+'s but only 2 games...
C'mon Ken although the OP has been a little naive. It's hardly his fault that other people are morally corrupt thieves. We've all been there. atleast i have anyway.
You're absolutely right. However, I'm not really naive, I documented the chat transcript before the scam actually happened. I am being cautious. Like I said, it's first time I ever got scammed online. I've met scammers before and didn't fall for it. Plus, I was thinking people had 50% off coupons and so 20$ for AC made sense. Guess, I was too easy on those 20$.
The scammer and some of his users (if not all) got banned yesterday from a large trading group. It is obvious though, that he wasn't targeting AC buyers, it just happened to fit his scam.
I'm not done with him though. I will contact today the CS @ SWTOR and have them check who used the code. I will probably get my money back from Paypal, but if I can get his SWTOR account blocked/banned than I'll have even more satisfaction. Those 20$ lost are going to cost him way more.
I also reported him to Steamrep. The person is from Europe. Faulty English, so probably eastern Europe.
