Game is dying - worst updates in history?
Honestly i really liked this game - but it is dying really fast now - the new update even failed to get players back and instead made them less ...

It is seriously frustrating how they got such a great base for a game just to fail on every level and destroy it with every patch showing more and more that they have no idea what players actually want ...

If any DEV reads this a few keypoints:
- standard control layout and settings is the worst possible - i almost stopped playing until i realized that its just crappy standard settings
SOLUTION: there are tons of rather similar control layouts by the community that are far superrior - make them standard

- Rewards are lacking
SOLUTION:
- make use of all the almost unused skins ingame either with a transmog system, skin drops in dungeons or just different rarity versions of all lower level items
- add various playertitles as loot in dungeons etc. (thats easy to do)
- add more amitois as loot

Runes
- the implementation is bad and frustrating
SOLUTION:
- add rune drops or at least the possibility to most of the other daily activities so that ppl arent forced to do another chore and play the game in a way they maybe even dislike
- add an option to increase rune storage - its just weird that you instantly lock up your inventory when you open the weekly reward while actually having to have a rune in your inventor for it to be upgraded


Events
They are getting more and more boring and empty and most probbly only do them for guild quests
SOLUTION:
Reduce the number of events that start at the same time and split them up to other hours or even split some within an hour.
+ add better and more rewards
+ increase the rewards for participation in the guild quests - as it is now ppl actualyl doing the quests get almost nothing
+ add more randomness to events like minibosses spawn, random horde events etc.
+ give everyone loot% according to damage % etc. in coop-events for coop items like seeds etc.


PVP-Events
+ add auto-team-up to PVP events and some sort of balancing
+ maybe even some sort of commander mode like in the old BF games for 1 player of each team to organize his team


Open World
+ add more random encounters in the open world and adjust the ones already in
- for example bigger and stronger loot goblins that actually live long enough for players to join in
- random actually stronger bosses that can spawn in the open world
- random events like an enemy attack of NPCs on cities etc. to make the game feel more alive

Dungeons
- make all enemies drop at least the loot they drop in the open world
- maybe add modificators to dungeons to make them less stale
- add random encounters/events to dungeon so they feel less like work


General Ideas
- add amitoi titles and levels that you can get/improve by taking them in dungeons etc. - maybe color variants etc.
- player titles with "level ups" for example:
-- Monsterhunter -> Monsterslayer -> Monsters Nightmare -> Monster etc. bound to for example number of kills of a certain type of monster etc.
- player titles for things done ingame - for example - sit on every chair -> armchair commander - like in other games and similar stuff

Social/Community
- add tools to organize for guidls (calender, polls etc.)
- increase guild player limit - casual guilds really need that - excluside them from some of the more competitive PVP things if needed
- add an easy way to group up with random people in open world dungeons and a party board for open world dungeons or even in general
- add rewards for players helping lower level players
- add an extra dungeon run/reward per day with a special beginner queue (players with <5 times finished Dungeon XY are put in that queue to team them up with players that can help them learning the dungeons and get rewards for that)
- maybe implement PVP more into PVE in a non intrusive way - for example player bounties on Playerkillers with some sort of karma system - this could become PVE quests for groups etc.

I have just uninstalled the game. It has become unplayable for me. The Dimensional Trials are another chore added to the game that is toxic to the greatest extent and i couldn't even do all the T2 dungeons as nobody cares whether you are a new player they just want me to be a pro who never dies or give a chancve to learn the mechs. Watching the mechs is smoething and doing them is another. The game cannot be played by casual players anymore so I am leaving it to all the pro no lifers who were born knowing every boss mechanic by heart and are great pvpers no matter the situation. See you all in better games.

There is no saving this game at this point. The entire game mechanics and the way it's structured, is just fubar.

Next time they want to want to make a mmorpg, I suggest they focus on making an environment where I, as a gamer, can choose to do whatever I want/like to progress my character.
Having to follow a specific route each and every single day, just absolutely drains my will to play.

Do 10 contracts.
Do 3 dungeons.
Do field bosses.
Do events.
Do trials repeatedly.

Every single day.

personal issue here. My character looks the same for the pass 2 months and 600 hrs.

Need Transmog System like Guild wars 2
Need More variety on buying Store outfits and not morphs
Normal looking less bulky type weapons Skins (every weapon skin is ugly to me)
More Coloring Section Options.
(example, when painting my chest section,why is it changing the pants or legging colors too? Separate those .
Let us remove guild emblem from cape.

We all have our nitpicks but, I feel like this game have great potential. But i am sick of the constant let down.

70k last week, 85k this week, your own source is against you here
Nah... he's onto something. I've been playing this game for over a month and recently the number of players has dropped significantly. You can see it in the game, there's no need to look at that chart.

Hey! I feel you. I have no life so I can play a lot and I've learned all the mechs, but still, the community in this game is toxic af.

Yeah its really sad - the world chat has become rather silent, some very active guild members actually quitting.

But its also obvious in towns and some events.


What really is bad is that there seems to be a very low influx of new players. The starting city is a ghost town.
And to be honest - i played a lot - but after this update i just took a break too. The daily grind was okay to some extent - but adding even more grind to that and not even rewarding runes in other daily grind activities is just bad.

I also dont care about the 2Star-Dungeons at all - why would i. The rewards for doing them is a joke and even if you get the best possible drops its still something that hardly makes your character stronger. There is not even new Amitoi drops in them.
And dont get me started on the reward chances compared to the frustration with random matchmaking for 2Star.
And that the 2Star Dungeons are the third? copy paste of the same Dungeons isnt helping either ...




This game needs fun content - not just endless grind. And content that helps community building and social interaction.

I hope DEVs also read the steam forums from time to time - i think my ideas arent that bad and most arent hard/expensive to implement either.

You put more effort into this post then they will put into reading it, let alone implementing any of those things....

All of your ideas are designed to make the game smoother and more enjoyable for a player....
The reality is this game is designed to milk your wallet at every turn..... so why would they do things like a Transmog system when it goes directly against their game design system to encourage players to buy skins and battle passes with skins....

Like you just don't GET that this game is designed exactly the way they want it to be, it uses the basic CellPhone Game formulas not a PC Game..... so trying to get them to make a fun game that respects the players time and gives you cool stuff is just 100% against their design model.

The elephant in the room you seem to be ignoring is that the entire games runs on REAL MONEY.... Every aspect of this game is designed to limit you from being able to invest as much time as you want to prevent you from target farming items quickly.

Insert a Real money AH now to counter those timers placed by the devs...... you have now created a vicious cycle of FOMO..... now insert new weapon like Spear to force players to reenter the grind for Traiting and Level a weapon...... insert struggle to get new weapon so you swipe.....

The issue you are ignoring is that their design model to generate sales is based on frustration and limitation, not ENJOYMENT....

You keep trying to tell them how to make the game fun, they could care less about fun if they wanted to make a fun game they wouldn't have used a dated game design from an MMO that is over 20 years old....... No, call this what it is.... a cheap cash grab designed to maximize profits for 6 months.... and after that the game could die like New World or Lost Ark.... they wont care, they got their money back.

I get you argument but even games made to maximize profits have to find a balance to keep players which is key and part of maximizing profit.

Especially f2p games need a sufficient userbase for the MTs to be profitable. People that enjoy a game also are more likely to invest in it.
