Rework Deadly Marker
Dear Developers,

I would like to bring to your attention a critical balancing issue in Throne and Liberty regarding the Deadly Marker skill for bows. Currently, this skill reduces the cooldown of all party abilities and even stacks, creating a disproportionate effect that exponentially increases DPS on bosses.

This imbalance has a significant negative impact on the game, as high-level content groups now exclusively prioritize bow users, completely excluding other weapons and limiting party composition diversity. The result is a completely broken meta where other weapons are simply not viable for participating in these activities. As we can see many people recruiting members for World Bosses and Trials parties like: "Party for blablabla ONLY BOWS"

I urge you to adjust this skill as soon as possible to create a healthier and more balanced gameplay environment, ensuring that all weapons have a fair role and relevance in dungeons and other game content.

Why just don't make it NOT stackable?

Thank you for your attention, and I hope you consider addressing this issue in an upcoming balance patch.

It will be fixed in this update it will not stack anymore
Thanks for the useless nerf! Jealousy makes everything get nerfed until no one does any damage ;)

I wish people like you are the loudest one.

The ones who complain can't join World Boss, which is probably 10% of all the PVE activity in the game. Now, the Dimensional Bosses are longer, and PvE Dungeons.

Not a good frequency play.

💡 1. It punishes team coordination instead of encouraging it
Deadly Marker works because it rewards smart party composition and synergy.
If stacking it leads to higher DPS — that's a strategic advantage, not an exploit.
You don’t nerf teamwork because some players refuse to adapt.

⚔️ 2. It’s based on personal frustration, not actual balance
The post screams, “I picked a suboptimal class and now I want others nerfed for it.”
This isn’t about balance — it’s about jealousy of a more effective setup.
Want a spot in meta parties? Play meta or bring something valuable — that’s MMO 101.

⏳ 3. Nerfing Deadly Marker makes bosses take longer = more time wasted
Reducing party DPS through artificial nerfs just drags out content.
That’s not balance — that’s punishing the entire player base because a few people can’t find a group.
You want “diversity” at the cost of slower runs and less efficiency? Nobody wants that.

🧠 4. MMO metas are always temporary and self-correcting
The same people crying to nerf bows now will be crying to nerf the next meta next month.
What’s next? Nerf shields for blocking too well? Nerf wands for healing too much?
This logic leads to endless homogenization — and a boring game.

🧱 5. "Not viable" = "not optimal" ≠ "unusable"
Just because bows are preferred doesn’t mean other weapons are useless.
Good groups value skill, not just class.
If you truly can’t get a boss spot without a bow, that’s on you — not the game.

🎯 6. PvE is not competitive — it’s cooperative
Crying about "balance" in PvE when bosses aren’t even a race or ranked content is silly.
This isn’t PvP. There’s no leaderboard for who beat the boss with what comp.
If you’re getting upset about people forming fast, efficient parties — you might be in the wrong genre.

🔥 7. If you can’t get into a boss group, maybe it’s not the bow’s fault
The post reads like someone who blames a skill for their lack of group invites.
MMOs reward adaptation, not entitlement.
You don’t nerf the ladder because you refused to climb it.

In TnL defense devs will add DPS buffs with every weapon.

I just don't get the narrative. if the bow is what dragging people not to be able join a BOW party with Bosses. Equip a BOW... use your main weapon.

Now wand will more likely be wanted in PvE World Boss events because of Janice Rage. It doesn't stack but if you do it sequentially that is big boost. Not including the buff. Guess what happens with janice rage. Watch people cry about it.

I stopped reading after this... "Adapt"? What were you expecting? The whole game using bow? This is ridiculous..
