Expect Permanent and Rapid Player Drop: Longevity Problem
This game has glaring longevity problems, and I don't know how these buffoons at NC Soft and Amazon fail to see it. The game is basically dead in KR already, and Global release will follow the same path, probably much more aggressively, because NA and EU players are much less tolerant and forgiving of BS mechanics compared to Koreans.

Here's a rundown:

1. Highest endgame gear unobtainable by most.
People will quit just because of this. When people determine that they cannot progress any further, they simply quit after hitting a progression point they are comfortable with. People will quickly realize that the boss gears are DPS contribution based. Either they drop $500 for a fake item with no real world consequences except a missed rent and a divorce, or quit when they feel like they hit a wall.

And this wall comes fast. In less than 50 hours, I think.

2. Imbalanced PvP
For a game that claims that it's PvP focused, it's quite hilarious that they didn't fix the balancing issues that existed in KR. It's also rock-paper-scissors like. So, no matter how well you build your toon, you can still get hard countered.

3. Cash Auction
The amount of lucent in circulation seems to be directly tied to how much real money people collectively dropped. And, of course, as more people quit with lucent in the bank, it's less of it in circulation.

This of course leads to WILD pricing. And I don't think it's fixable. It's too late for that. People will soon find out that it's not realistic to reach thousands of lucents through grinding alone, unless they quit their jobs. They will quit the game, of course.

I've put in over a thousand hours on BDO. I only bought cosmetics. I never bought Pay2Fast items.

It's a grindy game, and it caters to a particular type of people. It's closer to ARPG, if you ask me. If you don't like to turn your brain off and grind, it's not for you. But the S tier combat makes the grind actually fun.

I could zone out for hours listening to podcasts while killing hordes of enemies like Diablo 4. I could get enough silver in-game and just buy a TET or PEN item in that game. I reached softcap just by playing.

This game, doesn't even allow that. Lucent per hour for F2P players is not realistic.

Here's the kicker: They will release T2 items just like in KR and your P2W items will mean nothing. Meaning, the money you spent will not be worth that after a few content patches.
